Ella wiped a splatter of paint from her cheek and hooked her fingers around the handle of her coffee mug. It was 6:30 am on Monday, and Ella was putting the finishing touches on the painting of Elizabeth. In an effort to complete the piece in time for the meeting at the Amira Alder Gallery, Ella had worked on the portrait throughout the weekend.

On Sunday evening, Ella was filled with nervous energy and excitement. She found herself tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep. Her mind kept wandering towards the painting in progress and the collection of art that she wanted to exhibit. Oppressive thoughts of self-doubt and criticism overshadowed her sleep like a dark cloud.

While Ella was confident in her talent as an artist, she hoped that Elizabeth's portrait would be well-received. Elizabeth had presented her with a major opportunity, and to Ella, it was a dream come true. But as the moment of truth rose like the morning sun, Ella had become anxious to the point of questioning her abilities.

After staring at the ceiling for what felt like hours, she decided to get out of bed and give the portrait one last once-over. Ella wanted it to be perfect, particularly because the painting had such personal significance. As she dabbed the surface of the canvas, adding bold strokes of color, she thought back to Elizabeth posing for her on the couch. God, she is so sexy! I can't believe how hot the sex was that night. For someone so polished and measured, Elizabeth certainly has her own passionate primal side.

Ella continued to glide the brush over the outline of Elizabeth's form, imagining that she was caressing Elizabeth's body once again. Preserving Elizabeth's image on canvas was also a way for Ella to revisit their steamy encounter. She felt proud to have captured a memory that would also be on display for others to see. Most of all, Ella was thrilled to see where her relationship with Elizabeth would go, the adventures they could have together. Elizabeth was more than just a lover, she was a muse and a source of inspiration for Ella, and she wanted to explore more creative possibilities in the future.

Starting at the painting, Ella had finally reached the point of satisfaction. Hmmm, if I add anything more to this, I think I might ruin it. Better stop while I'm ahead. She squinted and tilted her head to the side, studying the completed piece. Now that she felt more assured, Ella went to snap a photo of the painting. Since the paint was not yet dry and because the canvas itself was quite large, Ella decided to present the artwork on her phone at the meeting.

Ella was not used to getting up so early, and she was feeling at a loss over how to kill time. She was too nervous to focus on creating any lesson plans for her college students, and she wanted to do something that would relax her nerves; it was essential to Ella to enter into the meeting with a clear head of confidence.
